Use the n8n node

Install the community node, then pick a resource and an operation.

SocialScrape ships a community node, n8n-nodes-socialscrape.

  1. In n8n, open Settings, then Community Nodes, then Install, and enter n8n-nodes-socialscrape.
  2. Create a key in the dashboard. Add a SocialScrape API credential. The test calls GET /v1/account/credits and costs nothing.
  3. On a SocialScrape node, pick a resource (a platform, or Account, Jobs, Monitors, or Any Platform) and an operation. That operation is one endpoint.

Required inputs are fields. Max Pages, Cursor, Include Envelope, trim, raw and max_age_days are under Additional Fields. A list comes out as one item per row. Each page Max Pages follows is one request. Cached repeats are free when max_age_days hits.

Retryable failures are retried with backoff. Slow jobs are waited out. The error includes the API error code and the request id.

The SocialScrape Trigger starts a workflow when a monitor finds new rows. Turning the workflow on creates the monitor. Turning it off deletes it. Check Every (Minutes) is how often it checks. Each check is charged like one request to that list. A failed check costs nothing.
