How it works

The tool shows the public Threads profile: name, bio, avatar, follower count, and whether the account is verified. Threads usernames are the same as the Instagram usernames they were made from.

Is the handle the same as on Instagram?

Usually. Threads profiles are created from an Instagram account, so the username starts out the same.

Can I read the posts?

The API has Threads profile posts and search endpoints. This tool shows the profile only.

Is this tool free?

How do I get this data in my own app?

Send GET /v1/threads/profile with your key in the x-api-key header. A request costs 1 credit. A repeat of something fetched recently costs 0 credits, and failed requests are free. See the reference.
