How it works

Meta publishes ads on its public Ad Library. The tool searches it for a keyword and lists the ads with the advertiser, the text, the button, when the ad started and whether it is still running. Each row links to the ad on the Library.

Questions

Does it show spend or impressions?

Only when the Library gives them. For most commercial ads it does not, and the fields are left out.

How do I search one advertiser?

The API has an advertiser search and a per-company ads endpoint. This tool searches by keyword.

Is this tool free?

Yes. No account and no card. Each visitor gets a limited number of lookups an hour, so it stays free for everyone.

How do I get this data in my own app?

Send GET /v1/facebook/ad-library/search with your key in the x-api-key header. A request costs 1 credit. A repeat of something fetched recently costs 0 credits, and failed requests are free. See the reference.
